this won't answer all of your question, but i called them and talked for awhile about this and they told me that you can use a hypercharger for an '06 1200...they told me the mounts/brackets are the same.now hopefully someone else will chime in as to where they pulled their vacuum from

There is what looks like a random vacuum tube that is capped off on my throttle body, that would probably be where I would pull from. Can't remember off the top of my head if it was on the top, bottom, or sides. Don't quote me on the fact that it is a vacuum tube though!

I might not be of much help because I didn't install mine myself, but the 04-06 hyperchargers DO fit on the 07 nightster (which is what I have), but I believe you need some sort of breather tube adapter kit and different gaskets maybe... I got mine installed at the dealer and that's what they said they were waiting on when it took about 3 weeks to get my bike back!

Here's a pic of my set up if it helps...

Three weeks?! I would have had them install the stocker and called me when the parts came in. The kit looks nice, just to much chrome for me (I plan on flat blacking my Heavy Breather this winter).

Default Butterflys

So was the dealership able to make your butterflys functionable, or do they just stay in one fixed fully open position.

yea they work. As soon as you turn on the bike they close... pull back the throttle and they open accordingly
