It's not about the 7 bucks, it's the principle of the thing. If it was over a 400 dollar exhaust for example, many of you would be singing a different tune. The amount of the transaction is irrelevant. If you want to buy something, then buy it. Or if you need to think about it, at least communicate that to the seller. The seller has no obligation to wait for days while someone makes up their mind, and the would-be buyer certainly has no cause to be acting all pissy when it's his own damn fault that the item he wanted got sold.

 

I honestly don't think 3 days is that long to wait. If you were in such a hurry, why not send him a PM and say "look, other people are interested. If you want it, you need to send payment ASAP", instead of just selling it. Obviously he wanted it.

I couldn't careless about the money. He said he wanted it, and obviously he did based on his 3 day later post. $hit happens in people's lives and sometimes they can't operate on your schedule. Like I said, I think it would have been nice if you PM'd him and confirmed he wanted it still before selling. Either way, I don't think anyone involved did anything worthy of getting a "call out" thread posted.
