I'm still new to Tenn, GA resident for many years so the I'm still searching the TN roads for some good ones, any advice in that area would be great.

And the Tennessee Riders is just a social group here on the hdforums. A place to kick around ideas for locals and such. Maybe even a place to find some more to support the Patriot Rider cause.

Yep, I figured that out about the Tennessee Riders.

I've lived in Nashville, and traveled all over the state all my life. I know every Pig path and goat trail around. Just let me know when ya wanna get together. We can have a beer or cup of coffee, I can point ya in most any direction, and type of riding you're interested in.

Are you using a multimeter for diagnostics? Sounds like a power supply problem from a bad connection from battery to main distribution (fuse/relay box). Symptoms sound the same as pulling the maxi-fuse (no power).

Actually robzuc97 I've already isolated the problem, I kinda got off topic with sporty pig lol.

Turned out to be my negative battery cable, its such a bugger to work with because of how its positioned that the connection wasn't completing. Last night I took it all apart and scrapped all the leads and connections, hit it with some grease, tightened it down and vroom!

I may have to pull the battery cables on mine and check them out. I have been getting theturn the key to ign and everything goes dead as well. I can usually cycle the key a few times and it everything will be fine. I was thinking that my switch was going out on my, but I'm going to try this first. I would much rather fix it for free than have to buy a new key switch, if it turns out to be the same problem.

@ chefE, I had attached my meter to the positive and negative of the battery and showed full charge, I then put the negative on the crankcase and the meter dropped down to the 6-7 range. Replaced my starter relay just in case, checked my wiring around the ignition module for any frays(thanks 6o66er) and even changed the battery....twice. End result was that dog gone negative cable, in my first battery swap I don't think i had the terminal connected to the crankcase tight enough and all of the terminals needed to be scraped and hit with dielectric grease anyways.

So far so good!
