I installed the V&H FuelPak about 2 weeks ago on my '08 883 along with the V&H Straightshots and the SE air. The FuelPak was a little hard to get into the tight space under the seat, but once it's there and velcro'd to the battery, it's nice and easy to get to. I installed the quiet baffles a couple of days later and was able to reprogram the fuelpak in about 2 minutes. I really like it. It's very easy to use and I recommend it.

i bought my fuel pak in june of 07.. i have over 6000 miles on it and have no complaints.. i too have the straightshot hs slipons. it is kinda a pain to install.. it only fits properly one way, but it does fit.. as for a comparison to the power commander - i have no idea cause i havent owned a pcIII, but the performance difference between stock to stg 1 with a a/c, fuel pak, and the slipons - was utterly amazing.. i am guessing 15-20 hp easy. and i did it all in my garage with basic tools for under $600 total. i am very very happy.
