Nightster_Reaper, I got my seat re-shaped by Curtwood Custom (located just outside of Toronto)... a little over-priced but it's a million times more comfortable. No tailbone pain at all, and I've got room to breathe in the places that count!

thexman10, the bars are flanders low cafe style.

Ok you got the news about the tank lift. It's not ease to do major mods like that. It takes planing and you have to think about the proportions and lines of the bike. Ask yourself if you are enhancing degrading the original design and style.

Hey how hard was it to change to the chrome rocker boxes?

I am contemplating the change as well.

It's your bike, do what you want!

Trust me you will change it many times more in the future, these bikes are never finished until they are sold to someone else... that will continue to change them.

I'd imagine it's not hard if you know what you're doing... i got the dealer to install the chrome engine kit before I picked up the bike, but I know it was a lot of labour. The tank, pipes, and air cleaner have to come off for sure, and I'd imagine you'd have to drain all the fluids and stuff.

I think they sell chrome covers that bolt on over your existing cases without you having to take yours off... that's another option you can play with.
