A+ for Metzeler's!
I got me a set of Metzeler ME 880's today. I went alittle bigger then stock both front and rear. Fronts a 110-90-19, the rear is a 160-80-16. The back looks alittle wider but the front looks awesome ,barely fits ,but it fits! Alittle wider and taller. I did about a 70 mile ride and they feel great.
I'll get a few pics tomarrow, my camera was dead this afternoon.

That's what I got out of the stock front tire. I don't expect to get more then 6 or so thousand out of a rear the way I ride.

Yes IMO the Metzler tires are far superior to the dunslops.

Almost 12k miles here, running on the OEM Dunlops, tires still look good. I know will need tires replaced soon, maybe next spring.
My style of riding is mostly around town and long trips on interstates, looking mostly for comfort and longevity. no aggressive cornering or riding.
Should I stay with Dunlops? Or any others I should try? TIA

One member here, SportyPig, just replaced his front Metz 880. It finally wore out after 28,000 miles.

I think SportyPig should get a free tire for that many miles.

I just replaced my rear stock Dunlop with the ME880 after 13,800 miles. I've only put about 300 miles on it, so far it is great. I would like to see pics of your current set up when you get them up.
