Default Chrome Brake Calipers

Hello All,

I'd like to put chrome brake calipers on my '05 XL but I do not really like the price of HD's chrome calipers in that they offer. What does everyone think of taking the stock ones off, having them chromed and then reinstalling them. I understand there are chromers who would chrome both front and back for less than the price of buying one chrome caliper from HD. Anyone have this done? Thanks for the info....

Look at this website. www.brownsplating.com They have a retail program and are one of the best at chroming motorcycle parts. That is all they do. I have had a number of items chromed by them and they came out perfect. Don't always go with the cheapest. They have a price list right one the website. I bought a new chrome caliper on ebay for about half the price of the harley one and it looks and works great.

Thanks Jason. As I thought, I can get my calipers chromed for about half the price of buying new ones directly from HD. Im also going to check on Ebay. I might get lucky....

This is the one I bought on Ebay and it works great. The seller has great feedback too.
