thanks all for the replies.it will be rinehart or cycle shacks, just not sure yet. will be done during the winter so i dont loose riding time thats left. thanks all.

A 2-1 will provide a bit more power though.

 

I just got some Rineharts off ebay for a pretty good price. Man, they are hella loud. I'm really getting to like them. At first they were scary loud but now they seem better. (After passing a few cops and not getting ticketed.)

 

+1 to that. The first few cops I passed worried me. Last week a motor cop came up right next to me in Newport Beach and didn't even take a second look at me. That set my mind at ease.

I put the V&H Straightshot slip ons on about 2 weeks ago. They're loud. I installed the quiet baffles the next day and I'm much happier. Much deeper sound and they don't drone in your ears on long rides.

 

you can get a complete set for just about the same price as some slip ons. they are vance and hines short shot staggered. there is a place called american classic motorsports on ebay and he sells them for like 295 with shipping unless he has gone up since i bought mine. they are already set up for the o2 sensors also

 

I love my Cycle Shacks. Sure beats paying $125 verses $much more for Rineharts....and they sound better too. IMO

V&H with quiet baffles. No drag pipe sound but loud enough to know you're riding a Harley.

 

I think you will probably get as many opinions as you have choices to pick from. I also have the cycle shacks. Great look, and sound, and good price compared to some of the others.
