Does any one use a half helmet with a partial face visor?

I was considering getting one, and I was just checking to see if anyone already used this set up.

Any feed back is welcomed.

 

Ive seen people useing them, I think it looks funny, I have a half helmet with shades figure thats the same, only problem is I dont like wearing the helmet, So it gets more use when it rains or when im driving my truck and my buddies get scared and slam it on there heads so they dont bounce around and get a cuncusion. But My shades have helped so far so unno really.

 

I was considering getting a Scorpion Exo-100. It's a shorty with flip down shades. Heard some good things about it, a buddy of mine has one and i think it looks good.. Check out youtube, it's got some video reviews of the helmet.

Don't ask why, but the pink helmet was the only thing i could find a link to from work...

 

I saw some on a site called helmets etc for about $14 for the visor and HD has some for $35 but it says that it is kevlar and scratch resistant.

I wear prescription glasses so it is easier to wear a helmet with a visor than carry an extra set of glasses and hope that they do not get blown off my face at high speeds.

I use a $20 snap on face shield on my 1/2 hat if I am going to do any extended interstate running. Beats getting smacked in the face at 80 mph by gigantic bugs, rocks etc.

 

3/4 with a flat snap on shield works fine for me. You can get the shields in clear or smoked for around $8. Good visibility and protection.

 

I have the nolan half helmet with the 7" flip up face shield they have a 5" shield also got it out f dennis kirk, I like it alot.

 

We use them and they are great. Wear sunglasses under in the day and no glasses at nite. Look just like Speedracer too.

 

I have a half helmet with a visor but find myself wearing my non-dot helmet. I know its not smart to do but i cant seem to find a helmet thats looks good. I have the mushroom head look with the dot and I hate it

 

3/4 helmet and goggles. Cuts down on the wind noise.
