went to load my bike tonight, leaving for OC MD bike week tomorrow ( we have a toy hauler). Turned on the Key and nothing. No lights at all. Hubby checked the battery and it was reading 3.5 volts. Decided to replace the battery. But seems soon. I bought the bike new. Hubby say there are only two other things it could be. Voltage reg or Stator. I run spot lamps, and converted the rear turn signals to brake lights. Bike has 7k miles, any idea's as to why my battery died so fast? We road 60 miles on Sunday, no problems. With the new battery, bike is running good. Guess we'll see what happens. Hubby says Stator is a pain to change. Hopes that's not it. We figure the bike was actually built in Sept of 05. Which means the battery would be three years old. Keep in on a tender during the winter months.
