Default Anyone powder coast their heat shields?

I have black rush slip-ons (awesome btw) and was wondering if anyone has powder coated the nightster heat shields? Thanks

I never heard of this "Powder Coasting" process.hahaha
I think powder coat holds up to head but I never seen it done on heat shields.

I think ceramic coating has a higher heat rating.

granted powder coat is applied at high heat, I don't think it will hold up to repeated hot cold cycles.

You can get your heatshields powdercoated wioth a high-temp powder, or you can have them ceramic coated, which will probably hold up better.
I used these guys to do my headpipes and it held up for 4 years before I sold the bike:

you will be fine doing your heat shields... it will easily handle the heat... i do them all the time for people... (I do use high temp at times... regular powder will on occasion leave a white film when it gets hot, i stear away from ceramic just because it does not handle road grime and spills at all)

I used ceramic paint on mine. But first I drilled a few holes in them.

i had mine powder coated in wrinkle black no problems at all....
