Best speed to shift at? Since I don't have a Tach!
Since I do not have a tach-o-meter,
What is the best speed to shift at?
1st to 2nd?
2nd to 3rd?
3rd to 4th?
4th to 5th?
5th to damn no more gears
1st to 2nd = between 25 and 30 feels like a pretty good shift point, IMO.
Now...

You won't. There is a rev-limiter. Feel free to bounce off of it. You won't hurt anything. That's way better than lugging the engine. Seriously. Run it up, see where the gear runs out. Then back off from there. You will not hurt the transmission.

I'm glad my first (few) bikes were... dropable... so to speak... but I also rode the **** out of them come rain, snow or ice...
