I have used the gloss black rust-oleum as well. I dont spray from the can though. I spray onto something and use a small brush to apply. I cant aim a spray can to save my life. I hit everywhere else.

Hah! Y'all are friggin' rank amateurs! My Sloptail is painted with Rustoleum Hammered Black, frame, tanks, rear fender. Stuff holds up to log trucks, chip & seal roads, and even limbs coming out of trees during a storm.

If you're really concerned about the rust, get a can of Por 15. It's a rust inhibitor and hard as a rock once applied. But, Rustoleum will also work fine........
