I like to promote Flyrite Chopper because they are a TX based company out of Austin. They have a dealer close to my house and their bikes are pretty badass. They are plain jane and mean business. Heck their tins are powdercoated with out any bodywork/finishing done to them, meaning you see all of the fabrication marks/welds. My not work for some people but I'd like to have one. They aren't very comfortable though

Flyrite ****ing RULES! Their work is amazing! I'm also a big fan of Foundry Cycles, Lucky Charm Choppers, and Led Sled's work. Their fab and attention to detail sets em apart.

well the whole bobber thing was out of necessity not style.
my grandfather had to get rid of anything useless to get his 1954 java bike.
and my uncle had to get rid of anything useless to get it his suicide shift harley go fast (and repair it for 6 hours just to get 2 hours of ride
if you want the real bobber style you can check my friend alp's bike "the whip"
here's the link http://www.sungurtekin.com/
and he's takin' it somewhat serious.
and no a rigid frame is not a must for bobber (and i'm at the edge of being a smart *** sorry)
it just takes time and many unfortunate mistakes to bob and chop a bike but in the end you just fall in love with it. (and i'm not one of the guys who are brave enough for it yet)
