Default Some pics of my son's "new" 883

I usually hang out in the Dyna section, but recently picked up a sweet 883 for my son. Thought I'd share some pics.

I found this 93' with 438 original miles on EBay. It was woman owned and she barely rode it. I couldn't believe that I found such a nice older bike. Not only that, but since I'm still in Iraq, a friend of mine only lives 30 minutes from the previous owner and was able to do the transaction for me.

The only problem with the bike was that the old battery leaked acid onto the primary. I'll replace that when I get home.

Thanks 1200Cdriver, but I'm not a soldier. I'm a contractor here training the police. I can't take credit for the hard work our warriors earned.

That's basically the same bike I bought in June, minus the buckhorns, add a two-up seat, backrest and bags. You bought your son the best graphic from '93! Mine's also got about 10,500 more miles than his.

He's going to love it!
