Removing reflectors/Front turnsignals?
OK 2nd thread already(should of did one) But how do I go about removing the reflectors off of the front forks??? Are thy held on by glue or what??? Also I wanna remove my front turnsignals but I noticed that you cant just take them off and pull out the wires? How do I go about this so I can put them back on later if I want to??? Thanks

Those reflectors are adhesived on. I used something like WD-40 to weaken the adhesive and then pulled them off. Just use something that won't scratch your fork to get ahold of the reflector and pull it off. Some people use fishing line or dental floss. Dental floss kept braking for me, so I put a strong thin cloth behind it and pulled til they came off (in pieces). Not sure about the turn signals.

Try this thread for the turn signals.

I just removed my turnsignals the other day. It's pretty easy Do you have a service manual? If you do, it tells you how to do it in there. Just ignore all the mumbo jumbo about draining and removing the fuel tank. If you don't, just unscrew the signals and figure out which two wires you have to disconnect. Next, you will have to lift the tank so you can get into the little wire box (I dont know what it is really called) that is right under the tank and frame. Remove the side of the box (one screw and some zip ties) and then remove the wires from the fuse box. You might want to put a dummy fuse in there, or some electrical tape over it...

You have received good advice on the reflectors, and yes the bike will look much better w/o them. On the subject of the turn signals. Be aware that you may not be able to pass your state inspection if you remove them. I live in Va. and asked my Indy about losing the stock rear signals and incorporating them into the rear brake light. No go here. So just keep that in mind if you haven't already checked up on it.
