Default help with seat bolt

I noticed the bolt that hold my seat to the fender is missing. I have no idea how it fell out. Does anyone know where i can get a bolt to fit? Its from a 02 883xlc.

Consider upgrading to the threaded twist-off bolt.... If you remove your seat fairly regularly

I'd suggest getting a bolt- today.
I wouldn't ride like that.

Should be a 1/4-20 thread. I have the one that has a thumb screw. works great. Do not use loctite. I'd use a piece or two of nylon fishing string to help keep it snug. Used to use that trick years ago with my old triumph to keep from loosing the rocker box plugs.

The screw is 1/4 x 20. A knurled thumb screw is convenient if you remove the seat very often. A neoprene washer or O-ring slid up on the screw threads works well as a lock washer. NO LOCTITE

I have the twist-off replacement. Was only $15 at the dealer. I change from my stock Sundowner alot. One is for in town (105th dual leather seat) and other makes the wifes butt hurt less. Its still a nice item to have after you remove the stock screw a couple times anyway since mine got knurled from the screwdriver.
