Question Biker's Friend bag on Nightster

Has anyone tried one of these?

http://www.bikersfriend.com/pages/saddlebag.htm

I was thinking of combining one with a Motherwell Nightster rack.

What do you think?

bikers friend is a nice product some day I may get one,for now I took a back pack and put a 5 gallon pail inside and tied it down the same as the bikers friend ties down. It is very secure. Kuryakyn classic roll tour bag looks nice to for half the price.

$190 to $250 for a fancy duffel bag? And an end loaded bag at that...

They might work out and look slick or something, I can't wrap my head around spending that much on something that won't do the job as well as something that costs less than a quarter of what they want for the Biker's Friend.

Take a peek at these...

For me it wasn't the looks. More the fact that when it's empty it holds it's shape and the EZ attachment. I know there are cheaper versions that do that, but the end loading actually works real well, and there are inner and outer pockets that're real handy. And, silly as it may seem, I don't mind paying a few extra bucks for a made in USA product.

i cant see the difference between that and a regular big duffel bag with a rolled up plastic sheet inside to keep it stiff.

besides rain/water protection
