Ya, the way these pipe are, there is a metal tube that is wrapped that goes into pipe first, then the baffle goes in and holds the packing in place....I will reinsert the wrap, then try the lollipop thing - I am sure there are air flow specifics..but bending a baffle is not a scientific item either.....I am not racing the bike, just want a nice perfect harley sound
Thanks again.

It's real easy to bend 'em after a long ride when they're hot.

Have BCT and love them. Great sound and power. They get my recommendation.

What is wrong with you people?
Every expert for the last 30 years has been telling us to stop pulling the baffles out because it destroyes the performance of the bike.
All it does is make the bike obnoxiously loud and puts you on every COPS radar the minute they hear you.
Another thing this causes is it gives all bikers a bad REP and increases the chances that your local community to pass horrible noise restrictions on you just like they have in Colorado and many other places.
I'm especially talking to the guy that pulled the baffles on his D&D mufflers, those are one of the finest after market mufflers out there and you defiantly screwed up your performance.
It's amazing how many people confuse noise and performance!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My roommate but BCTs in his V&H pipes. Had to remove the old baffles and drill a new hole to put the BCT baffles farther in the pipe, but the worked. His bike was louder and got rid of the drone. Sounds a lot better. Like I said before these baffles are great.
