That's what I have. No remap needed.

I tried it without the quiet baffels at first and it seemed to hunt and surge quite a bit. I didn't ride it very long like that as I wasn't thrilled with the tone. Once I put the quiet baffels in, it reduced the hunting quit a bit.

The system is suppose to self adjust, so I wouldn't say I gave it enough time to do that without the baffels. ( Just 5 miles). This is with the stock A/C set-up.

With the quiet baffels in, it seemed to get the backpressure that it needed. It still seemed to surge a little at 30/40 mph in 3rd gear. It was very rideable like this. I'm a little spoiled with the RG, but that's a different bike and maybe I was expecting the sporty to run like it?

If it's just the pipes your changing, then I'd say no, but you'll have to put some miles on to see. If you do both ( A/C and pipes), yes.

I did add the nightrider VIED's today and it did make a big difference after the first 5 miles. Usually they say the ECM should adjust within the first 50 miles. Give it at least that to see if you need some sort of fuel managment.

I don't have a sound clip but I have to tell you; I live in New York state and got a ticket for loud pipes
I then ordered and installed the quiet baffles. So far so good. They aren't that much quieter but the whole thing seems very subjective by which cop you get.

You got a ticket for loud pipes with the V&H slip-ons ? They're not that obnoxious, cop must have been having a bad day.

My boss who is a retired town judge couldn't believe it. He says the guy must have been a rookie or having a slow ticket day.
