Default Turn signal and fender strut disassembly ?'s

I'm getting some parts powder-coated black on my 2006 883R next week and i have a few questions as to how to remove them from my bike. I ordered a workshop manual but it's on backorder. I'm getting the front and rear turn signal housings powder-coated as well as the rear fender struts. My question is how to remove those items. The front signals appear to come off with just a nut and bolt or hex screw...but how about the rear along with the fender strut? Any help would be appreciative, thanks

Its been a while since I relocated my turn signals but if I remember correctly the rear turn signal mounting stud has a nut on the inside of the fender strut AND is also threaded into the fender strut. The nut is not terribly hard to remove but you have to remove the chrome strut cover to be able to get to and unscrew the mounting stud from the fendr strut.
Hope this helps.

I can't imagine it's much different than my 99.The fender struts have 2 nuts on the inside fender.(1/2") The turn signal stalk also has one inside the fender.Remove the turn signal stalk and unplug the wire from behind the tail light.Pull the wire and plug through the hole in the fender. It helps to put the bike on a jack. You might have to unbolt the shocks so you can remove the strut covers, once their unbolted.Dropping the shocks also makes it easier to get your hands up there once it's on the jack.Don't forget to tie it down!Should be a pretty straight forward job.If you can turn a wrench...
