What is the deal with Helmets??
Today on my way home from work i was at a stop light when 4 other bikers pulled up along side me. I was wearing my new full face helmet I bought last weekend. I bought this helmet due to the fact that in the past month and a half i have known 3 bikers to die because of cagers being stupid and not paying attention. All 3 died from massive head trauma! Well, these people started giving me a bunch a bull chit about the helmet and continued to f*** with me for the next 3 stop lights and i guess they got tired and then left me along. Is it that important to wear no helmet, Half shell. What's going on here?

I've been wearing a full face helmet for a long time. I do alternate once in a while but always come back to my full face. Don't sweat it and forget about everyone else. Where they razzing about the full face helmet or the skull design on it. It's a cool looking helmet, though i'm not sure i'd wear it...but that's just me.
I like the feel of a full face, I want the security of it, don't like bugs crashing with my face and most of all, one steel plate in my head is enough.

I've been riding 37+ years, and never worn a helmet (unless passing through a state where they are mandatory and I know I would be stopped)..
I like to see and feel the elements, and don't like the 'contained' feeling that helmets give.
Some were helmets, some don't. I could care less one way or the other, as it's a personal choice and what others do is not my business.
Just ride and don't worry about it.

I wear 1/2 helmets and rarely no helmet.
I don't care either way if someone else does or doesn't. People who will rip on you for wearing one is ignorant. I feel I have stuff to life for in my life and therefore will try and help my chances of surviving in a crash.
And, I personally would rather not wear a helmet but it saved my life (probably) once already and I want to see my son grow up.

Who cares what those guys think. It is your head not theirs. Wear what you want. I only have a 1/2 helmet, but that is my choice and I would never knock what anyone else wants to wear, whether it be a full helmet, fingerless gloves, or azzless chaps. (Sorry, couldn't resist. ) I will be buying a 3/4 for the winter to keep dem ears warm.
