Saturday we did the third annual Anderson/Snyder Poker Run in honor of two local Marines that went to Highschool together and both lost their lives in Iraq only weeks apart.

I rode about an hour south to hang out with some friends. On Friday night we went to a bar. I ordered a Jameson on ice, they didn't have Jameson, so I took a Jim Beam. I handed the girl a twenty, tipped her a buck and put the rest in my pocket. Did not even pay attention to the cost.

Later went to a different part of the bar and ordered the Jim Beam on ice. This girl fills the cup up with ice then with Jim Beam, apparently she didn't know what to charge so she goes and talks to another guy. He asked me what they charged me for the first one, I pull out the change I had been given and figured I was charged $7. He wouldn't give it to me for that, wanted $15, I said no, he tried to bargain with me and said $12. I said keep it, pour it out. It's like they have never sold staight whiskey before? We left, went to another bar/pool hall where they had Jameson, real glass and charged about what I would expect, $4.50.

On Saturday, I went to another friends. One I had sold my old Virago to, and helped him work on it. I also let him ride my new Sportie and boy did it make his day. He would love to get one, but he just can't afford one. He really can't afford my Virago, but I'm letting him make payments on it.

Sunday I watched a bit of the Cardinals game, then rode around St. Louis city some.

Did the Springfield Ohio Harley rally sat night, and Sunday we rode down to Buckmin's HD in Xenia.
On the way back, we stopped at John Bryan park in Yellow Springs and I sneakily snapped some pics of some chicks playing pass......my wife called me a dirty old man

Saturday my boyfriend (and his Night Train) and I rode around West Michigan. Went to a Harley Dealership, bought stuff. Took all the country roads home. My boyfriend thinks we need race at every deserted stop sign. He still can't seem to catch me. After about the 5th time I told him it was enough. His bike is 200lbs heavier, and he's twice my size. But, It's really cute how frustrated he gets.

Great fun reading about highway one. 120auto got my attention. I'm running out to the garage to grab a wrench.

That's my kind of Fair Perch! My wife and I are a couple of hicks and really enjoy the Country Fairs. This week we are headed to the Washington County (NY) Fair where the big draw for my wife is six (count 'em 6) cow barns. My favorite, besides the great roads to get there, is the antique tractor exhibit and pulls. 'Course when I was riding them they weren't antiques they were tools.
Anyway, glad you enjoyed that Fair.
