YES 'Joseph Garcia' Harmonic Vibration Sound, that is the best way to describ the sound, Thanks.
Put about 250 miles on my bike this weekend somtimes a bit hard. We went from the Lansing HD dealer to Fowlervill over 80+ mph all the way, around 40 miles. My oil temp gauge went to 235-240 I never seen it that high befor, but it ran great all weekend. My harmonic sound was with me every time I took off from a stop. Thanks for the advice I have got so far. I know it's not the chain or the primary oil. I have been looking for external parts that could vibrate most all summer but it's so hard to pin pont the sound. I feel like it's coming from under the front part of the gas tank and I think more to the right side. somtimes I think it's coming from the front tire, I just cant tell for sure.
Thanks for the advice I have got so far...
GP.

Sounds like your primary compensator sprocket nut backed off to me. It's hard to tell from your discription.

Jerry, I had been thinking about that too. But it kind of sounds like it's more on the right side, trouble is I'm not sure. Can anybody tell me if that bolt could back off and tear up the inside of the primary? or would it hit the side of the cover stoping it from coming off ?
...Thanks.

That I can't tell you in all honesty but I can tell you that it's a left hand thread.

I now have 4500 trouble free miles on my bike, that noise is still there. Now last night I was taking off the wheels so I can get new tires. I had to take off the rear pipe, the nuts that holds the pipe to the motor was so loose, I got one off with my finger, the other nut was loose too. So I'm thinking that could be my noise problem. I will know in about 4 or 5 days...

When I changed pipes mine were SUPER loose as well... I torqued the new pipes and they're still tight 2 mos later.
