Default Getting to the head gasket.

It is hard to get to the intake bolts. I am just removing the front cylinder. How do I get to the the intake bolt to loosen it, to remove the cylinder?

Take a regular hex allen wrench and cut down so it's shorter.

Well, my problem is this. My front head gasket is leaking so bad, that when I ride and it heats up. I am spraying oil all over the county. It is coming from the head gasket, so I am trying to get to that, but I am having to remove everything attached to it. I have wrenched on this bike for years, but never this deep. I could use all the advice I can get.

you can also use a "dog bone" adapter... that is what we have in the shop, wiht this it will allow you to use the torque wrench to get it all torqued to spec

Smile Thanks!

I have reached the head gasket. It is just like I thought it would be, ****ed. I have been dealing with oil leaking out of the front cylinder head now, for over 2 years. It has been so nice here that I just didn't want to break it down to fix it. I want to thank everyone who responded to my cry for help. I am not out of the woods yet...I still got to put it all back together. HELL YEAH....!

Try Sears, look for what they call a crows foot adapter, they come in different sizes and snap on a ratchet.

You can cut down an Allen wrench or you can buy the proper tool at your local dealer, it does work better and it doesn't cost a whole lot.
