Default Opinion on a Nightster

Guy I know won a Miller Lite Nightster. Offered him $8k for it right after he won but he turned me down. I think he had visions of selling it for retail. He's my height (over 6') so I knew it wouldn't fit him.

So last Friday at a party he told me my wife really should buy it. I told him it was her decision but if she was going to ride it'd be a good bike for her.

Later he started on it again about how the 07s were going in e-bay for mid $7k and all he wanted was $8k for it. Less than a 100 miles. He basically rode it home from the ddealer and parked it.

So he wants to sell. My problem is I hate the paint job. I figure I could pull the tin and have it painted black for next to nothing. That or trade it if someone wanted it.

Decisions.....

I think 8k is a good deal on a brand new Nightster.

I'd keep the Miller paint on it.

Heck of a deal.....

I'd also keep the original Miller Paint Job, as it would be pretty unique.

But you could always get it painted Black sometime down the road, as pulling the tin off a bike and getting them painted is no big deal...

I would pull the Miller tins off, store them and pick up a set and have them painted, might cost a little more, but you are getting a great deal on it any way. If the new Custom Grind Chisel tins weren't 2 grand, I would have them on my bike in a heart beat.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

What he said!

BTW 6' is not too big for a nightster and sportsters aren't "girls bikes"

Just sayin.

I agree. 6' is not too big, and my wife is too scared to even touch my Nightster. She wants an 883c.
