SE Air Cleaner effects: sound, mileage?
OK, so I am waiting for all my parts to come in for my 07 1200C. I went with V&H Straightshot slipons right away, then a day or two later decided to go with the Fuelpak and the SE AC. In the words of Nike, just do it, you know?
What effects will the AC have on sound and mileage? I am expecting torque and horsepower and to hang on tight. But I guess I'm just curious about them from those of you have them: Do SE AC's affect sound in any way? How about mileage?
I respect your wisdom, my elders.

Like you, I had V&H slip-ons from new then added the SE air cleaner later, along with a Kitech PowerPro fueller unit. The air cleaner makes no difference to the sound.
I can't comment on whether torque and power have increased, as I didn't have them measured before the change, but the throttle response is much improved and the engine revs out much more freely now. The bike feels like it's running how it should, as opposed to being somewhat restricted. That may, however, have as much to do with the fueller richening things up as it does with the air cleaner letting more air in. Dyno chart showing the figures after the changes is attached.
Fuel consumption has increased. I used to get high 40's mpg on my commute to work - some country lane, a little bit of motorway and a fair amount of stop-go traffic - but am now only getting around 43mpg (n.b. that's imperial gallons, so around 36 per US gallon). The ride is a lot more pleasurable though.
