I've heard some say that its a women's bike, but then a lot of people say my Mustang gt is a women's car
I got a Nightster last month and it is my first bike. I think it's a great bike to start on - easy to ride slow, but you can tell you're not going to "outgrow" it any time soon. I wasn't looking for a "woman's bike" when I went shopping ... but I wasn't looking for something that made a statement about my manliness either.

Most guys comments about my bike are that it must be fast. I don't care how fast it is; I care about how much fun I'm having when I ride it. As with anything in life, listen to your instincts (not others' opinions) and you'll end up much happier in the long run.

PS - My mom drives a Mustang.
