Default Shock Question(s)

I have two more major mods to do on my XL50. Drag bars and a new set of rear shocks. I was thinking that I'd lower it a bit too in the process.

After searching some on here, I'd planned to get my shocks from trak-tek.com. The question I have is the major differences between the 412's and the 418's? I'm 6'2" and weigh 250. Would I see any noticeable difference if I spend the extra cash for the 418's? They are almost twice the price.

Also, what length are the stock shocks? I'm not exactly sure how they are measured. I figure that I'll lower is an inch or so in the process.

Thanks!

In my opinion you would be better off with a set of 412 Heavy Duty, often referred to as 412 HD's. Save the cash for something else.
