Default So I chopped up my throw over saddle bags...

Making all sorts of changes to the bike and it required me to get rid of my saddle bags. I still needed something to carry my wet weather gear (or random crap when its dry and sunny).

I hacked off the straps and drilled 4 small holes in the back of the bag and threaded some cable ties (zip ties) through them and zipped them up to the frame.

All in all... not looking too shabby I think.

Now I still have another bag in case this one gets too torn up over time and I did not have to pay $200.00 for the Licks Solo Bag.

That is one of the lowest seats I've seen yet, must be hard on the butt.

I just went outside with the missus to see if it would be a problem or not.

I leaned the bike WAY over more than I would on my most tight turns and the bag did not touch so all is well.

+1 on the recycling of the bags. It looks good. If it was me I'd zip tie those high and tight though, they may ride different loaded up.

Good idea. Keeps the weight down low.
