Hi, just picked up my first bike. A 99 Sportster 883. I'm interested in replacing the stock handle bars. I'd like to go with drag bars as I've ridden several bikes with them and enjoy the feel. My question is in regards to rise ad pull back. I want to make sure that the bars come up over the gas tank so I'm not hugging the tank while riding, but I also don't want them to be so high that I feel like I'm riding with ape hangers. I'm also unsure of the amount of pullback that would give me a comfortable ride as well. I found a set that I think may be what I'm looking for but I'm looking for some advice. They are 1 bend, inch and a quarter diameter bars with a 6 inch rise and 4.5 inch pull back and they are 32 inches wide. Can anyone let me know what they have on their bikes or any input that you have on this? Thanks
