Default Wife wanted to ride so I traded in the Nightster

So my wife and I went bike shopping this weekend and picked out a 2009 Dyna Fat Bob. I really love the bike and it will be the perfect bike for my wife and I to ride two up on. I just wanted to thanks to everyone who answered any questions I had on my Nightster and I hope to see you all on the road.

Did they give you a good trade in at least? I really want a fatbob, really like the style and way it rides

They gave me $9200 in trade in. I put so much money down on the first bike that I broke even with the trade in. I still lost money because of the amount of money I put down on the Nightster. The good part is that I got money back on my gap and I saved a lot of money on taxes. I was still able to put a nice down payment down on the new bike and believe this is the perfect bike for my wife and I so it worked out in the end.

If I could get a sweet trade in I would consider trading up, just do not see it happening and refuse to give away the Sportster and refuse to go in over my head for a bigger bike right now.

Yea I don't blame you. My Sporty was paid off and I got $5300 in trade in for it. The thing was using oil like Rosie Odonnell uses Krispy Kreme doughnuts so it was basically a no brainer to go ahead and trade it in. I owe about $8,000 on the Street Bob now.
