Okay so as some of you know I got my first bike around 1.5 months ago and I've put over 1,000 miles on it so far.&nbsp\\; I do feel at some times the 883 is a bit slow in acceleration.&nbsp\\; I have been getting around 47-48 mpg (mainly highway, around 50-60 mph) which seems a bit low to me.

What I would like to know is, what would putting on an aftermarket air cleaner do?

 

&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; Now I have an aftermarket one on my truck and I know that more in air = more power and also = more fuel in.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; Say I threw one of those cone air cleaners on (big sucker is it? I love the look of those) should I expect to see, considering I keep the same riding style, more power at the cost of more fuel?&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Or just simply more power?&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Now I know the bike should be re-jetted (is this similar to retuning the PCM in the truck?)

&nbsp\\; I'm just looking to see ways I could get some more power out of the bike.&nbsp\\; I bought the bike with the samson's already on it and as far as I'm aware of, the bike was not re-jetted.
