bent kick stand??

Default bent kick stand??

Hi everybody,
&nbsp\\;
i´m going to install a 11´progressive shocks on my 883 low, and a friend of mine tell me that i´ll need to bent kick stand with welding torch&nbsp\\;to keep&nbsp\\;bike´s inclination, it´s really necessary?

No, you won't have to bend the kickstand. The stock shocks on my 883L are 11.5". A half-inch isn't going to make that much difference.

It's not an absolute requirement, but it's a good idea. 11 inch Progressive 412s on the OL's '04 Custom.&nbsp\\; I put a jiffy stand from a Nightster on and it helped tremendously. Easier and better looking than heating up a chromed, stock unit.
