I currently have Vance Hines Straightshots. The look and sound nice but I would prefer the slash cut exhaust. Does anyone know of a slash cut exhaust that is of excellent chrome quality, has as good sound as the V&amp\\;H? Are there slipons that would work with my pipes and heat shields?

Just put S&amp\\;\\\\\\;S Slashcuts on Mrs. HogDog's sportster...they sound and look great!

cycle shacks is what i have and i love them. good price and great sound. Personally i would rahter have the V&amp\\;H..... maybe we should trade.....

I like they way the chrome/slash out mufflers retain the stock look. But the DS slash is sharper and not as soft and rounded as the original -below

 

Could you just cut the V&amp\\;H's at a slash?

 

They'll rust pretty quick were you cut them.

 

I have the Python slip-ons on my bike... I have heard from several sources that they are actually manufactured by Vance &amp\\; Hines.... the baffles look the same.... you can see them in my sig pic below

 

&nbsp\\;S&amp\\;S are the best I've heard.
