I have a 1991 XLH. I want to get new grips

Are the grips considered push pull throttles? Is push pull the same as dual cable?

I put HD nostalgia grips on large rubber for my arthritic fingersw/ a hint of chrome luv them

 

I just put the same ones on today. Oh my god! They feel so nice!
