Default sportster engine

hi! to everyone
on my 93 sportster I decided to replaced the engine and buy a good used one on ebay.
I have seen some later models 2002-2006.
My question is: Which is the latest model that can fit my 93 sportster frame?
Thanks!
I really appreciated!

I would guess any evo up to 03 would bolt right in

Rather then spending the dough on another motor, why not just go through your old one?

I agree with Sick1200 unless you have a rod sticking out the side of you engine.

do you have some kind of un repairable damage to your engine? these things are good for 100k without major work, and if you actually put more than that, congrats haha.

91 to 03 should fit, somewhere in 95 i think they moved the kickstand mount and it might affect something on the engine mount, not sure but you should check anyways to be sure

and i bet were all curious, why the engine swap?
