if you hit a bump or go into a curve just right, that nail can pivot and puncture the tire and possibly cause a blowout

it's not worth wrecking your bike or you getting messed up!

I hate new tires.&nbsp\\;This one only has about 3K on it. I was thinking of just pulling the nail and seeing if it would go flat.&nbsp\\; That is what I would do on my car.

I just pulled the nail, and it was stuck about a quarter inch down in the knobby. I am fairly certain it didn't penetrate much deeper than the replace your tire mark. Sipe marks would be almost as deep. I am really tempted to save my $150.

Absolutely- I would just run it if it didn't leak after puling the nail.&nbsp\\; (run some saopy eater over it to check)- a nail hole would not cause a blowout anyway, just a low/flat tire.&nbsp\\;
