Advice needed...
I stand 5'5". \\; Is there enough seat heighth diff between the 883L &\\; 883 C to make a real difference?

not much seat height difference, but the mid controls on the L would be a possible benefit

I have had both and the difference is noticeable. But only you will know if it is enough to influence your choice about which way to go.

I have to agree with rjg883 on it being a noticable difference. You will feel, at your height, a lot more comfortable with the L model.  \\;

I am 5 ft. 3 in. and I sat on both. I have a 28 in. inseam, the low was way better for me, I can flat foot and bend knee the bike. The mid controls really make a difference too.
