I really do not want to change out my seat on the Nightster. I really like the factory seat. Can anyone tell me a good gel seat that I could add to my existing seat to give me more comfort for the long rides I take. Should I get an external pad or pay a company to install it under the cover of my seat. What are your experiences with an external gel pad and who is a good company that will install the pad for me?

All I've ever heard from most with gel seats is blazing hot in summer and hard as rock in cooler months. You want something with memory foam. Lots of pads available out there or Allen of Mean City can customize your stock seat.

 

I got a gel pad at J&amp\\;P.&nbsp\\; It was an improvement, but does get very warm if left in the sun.

I got better results from changing the rear shocks to Progressives.&nbsp\\; A much smoother ride!

 

Comfort Max Pad with memory foam is good, although sits you higher and more forward and

 

now I don't need it. Changed bars and added forwards and seat feels better now!
