RE: Twisty turnies and leaning
Abandon your fear of crashing and personal injury. This isn't really something that is learned, you have to just do it.
Try going back and forth around the same corner and each time go a little faster.
Once you start scrapping the footpegs you'll feel better.

Or if all else fails only go straight LOL !!!!. Confidence goes a long way in motorcycle riding. Too much confidence can get You into trouble just as quick as not enough, but practice and learn Your ride. Do You ride alone alot or are You more a group rider ? \\;Because if in a group, ride Your ride, don't be pushed into someone else's comfort zone . Is the bike set up correctly for You to get a good feel for the turns. How wide are Your chicken strips ?????????? ......WVleo

I kinda the same problem. kinda... i can do left turns till I hit the feeler on the foot peg..Right turn same as you. \\; I slow down. \\; So I've asked myself...self whats going on? \\; Well what i've learned is im not looking up. \\; Looking up/through, and around the turn has me almost hitting the feeler on the right side. \\; Im still cautious, but I'vd discoved thats what it is about me.
 \\;
Try it, it may work for you too.
Good luck.

As you yourself said, Pech, you just have to concentrate on the countersteering (pushing on the bar of the side towards which you want to turn). Forget all else and focus on this one thing. If your mental image has been of leaning the bike, of course you will tense up. That is an unnatural idea. (cont'd)
