1200 or 883?

What is it about some of you and rubber mounted engines??? They're Harleys. There is supposed to be vibration! And they didn't/don't vibrate that bad.

Whats the vibration do? hurts ur hands? what else? I really cant see the big deal but never had one to say.

I would go for the '06 883, fair money, rubber mounted, enough bike.

My buddy who I ride with quite a bit has an 883, and it'll "keep up" with my 1200.... But at WOT the difference in displacement is very noticable.

When you have some extra $$$ and decide you want more, you can build your own 1200cc+ out of it...and it'll perform better. \\; You'll also get to keep the 883 vin and pay less on insurance.

+1 Yep what Herr said, cheaper on insurance as well doing it thata way.
