a lot of tall guys ride sporties.
&nbsp\\;
forward controls or highway pegs will probably be necessary, and a lot of the taller guys have tall risers or apes of assorted sizes.
&nbsp\\;
wide mustang seat and upgraded suspension might also work well for you, especially if you plan on ridign two up a lot.

readytoride, Have a had many bud's buy a bike for the 1st time and talk "Sportster" (which is a good bike" They always have regrets later on down the road. Engine envy, rideiing position etc. I have successfully talked most of them into the Dyna Superglide! It's 3 or 4 grand more (depending on Sporty model) but it's not even noticeable in payments. Get with your dealer and your accountant and check out this bike.

Buy a used Wide Glide or Softail Standard - you'll appreciate the leg room . .

If I were 6'3 240, I would definitely consider a super glide or a street bob as the next stage up in price.

Get a 1200C, it has forward controls, you can stretch out a little, you won't get engine envy with the 1200, it gets 55 to 57 mpg. Your budget gets helped twice. Put a Sundowner seat on it and enjoy long rides. Pic. one is the way it started out, pic. 2 is now.
