Get a bigger bike!! Everything you would have to put on a Sporty to make it comfy will end up costing you close to the same as a Superglide!

i too am 6'3 about 250 and i love my nightster i tilted the handlebars out to stretch out and the forwards controls help alot. on the nightster id also recommend the mustang solo tripper seat or aftermarket seat for a bit extra room. and youll still be under the price of most other bikes except a base dyna.

I'm 6'2" with an 883C and have had big twins.&nbsp\\; The handling is way superior to the big twins,&nbsp\\; but you do lose a bit of comfort and space.&nbsp\\; I love my Sportster.&nbsp\\; If I was going on more than two big trips a year,&nbsp\\; I might get a big twin\\;&nbsp\\; but around town the Sporty gets it.&nbsp\\; You can get more leg room with engine guard foot rests, too.

Do you really want to be talked out of a Sportster? Because, I know I'm talkin blasphemy here, but there are allot of non Harley bikes that would fit you better for less money.I ride&nbsp\\; an 06 Bob which is basically a flat black Superglide and it's a decent enough bike but I hate all the money I've spent on it.Either you can buy a Sportster and modify it to fit you or get something else seriosly though, shop around.

I certainly can't talk you out of buying a Sportster cause I love them but you might want to consider a closer look at the Dyna's. You will get a few extra inches in leg room, which might be more comfortable for someone your size....and they aren't THAT much more than a top of the line 1200C depending on the model Dyna you were to choose....good luck.
