RE: Why is there no Screamin' Eagle edition Sportster?
I've kind of wondered this myself...If HD could do a nice SE version maybe with a 1250 engine, custom shocks, fatter rear wheel, \\;more chrome and more bling and keep the price around $16k, Id say it would be a hit.....just my .02

If you want more than that...do what I'm doing and get a Buell, lol. \\; That'll kick the pants off any SE model...and it's still TECHNICALLY a Sportster....at heart.

RE: Why is there no Screamin'
because the 16K it would cost would buy a nice dyna, or even softail....plus I think sportster owners enjoy making their own SE edition sportsters...I know I do. You get way more R.U.B.'s on big twins who are used to people "doing it for them" so to speak, so the big expensive bikes that come already custom sell better. I'm not sure I am making total sense, but it comes down to not having a market for it. Personally, I am surprised at how well the nightster sells at it's price...it's pretty close to the dyna...
