Default Silly Tool Bag Question

Hi All, my wife bought me a&nbsp\\;very nice&nbsp\\;Xelement leather jacket and tool bag through leatherup for the B-day.&nbsp\\; I understand the tool bag attaches to the front forks.&nbsp\\; I am concerned about attaching it front end forks since the wheel assembly slides up and down the forks.&nbsp\\; Am I being paranoid or have any of you attached these in other locations?&nbsp\\; I have an XL1200C.&nbsp\\; Thanks for any input....

It'll attach fine to the forks, just attach it above the tree (the thing that holds the fork tubes) and put it on real tight, as snug to thebottom of the light as you can.

I put mine on the downtubes of the frame. It is out of the way and does not interfere with anything. Plus I think it looks better down there.

I am not too keen on putting any weight on the forks or changing how they react (physics wise) to anything.
