Default Yet another drag bar question???

Hey guys! Haven't been around for nearly a couple years. I bought a new place(motorsikkle/sled wreckin yard&nbsp\\;and started a welding business on top of that.
&nbsp\\;Been too busy to ride but just said screw it... gotta ride a bit.
&nbsp\\;I built a set of drag bars for my 94 1200. Got them all mounted up.. then started taking the controls etc. off to do the change over. Ummm... no "crease" mashed into the bars I built. I didn't realise the stock bars have this.. too run the wires under the controls.
&nbsp\\;The drag bars you guys are using... do they have this "crease" in them or are you just running the wires out inbetween with a gap?? Or do you do something different?
&nbsp\\;Thanks!
&nbsp\\;Russ

Mine have the dimple, you could drill them and run the wires internally or just notch your switch housing with a file enough to run the wires out between the bar and housing.

Thanks Hotlap! Holy smoke this is a busy place. Had to go back 3 pages to find this. OK... I wondered about filing out a slot for running the wires.
&nbsp\\;Thanks!

Use your grinder to make a slot. Round off the edges so you don't cut into your wires.
