Default Turn Signals and Windshields

I want to move my frt turn signals down on the tree with a H/D kit, I have a H/D quick attach windshield, will there be a problem attaching the W/S if I relocate the turn signals?

I have a 2005 1200C and I have done just exactly what you are planning on doing.&nbsp\\; I used the H-D turn signal relocation kit to move my front turn signals to the lower tree and I also used the quick detach windshield.&nbsp\\; You will be pleased with the results, I am sure.&nbsp\\; By the way, do a search on this forum and you'll find information that will allow you to move the turn signals without cutting any wires or disconnecting anything electrical.

Keep in mind the HD signal mount kit sticks off like a set of highway pegs on the forks. I used the $19 mounts from JP Cycles which stand off about 3/4-1".

Going to do the same thing. Trying to clear the bars from excess stuff.

I think I am going with JP Cycles version as they are a bit shorter from the tree. Second person I heard that from.

Tom.
I moved mine down 0n my 06-C, no problem with the Q.D.Windshield. No need for splicing wires. I took out the 2 bolts that hold the riser on, picked up the handlebars, and pulled the wires down to the forks. Then I tied the extra wire up behind the headlight. I got my kit from a Indy Shop. I then got 2- 1" chrome spacers so they would stick out a little from the forks. I think it came out great. I feel the HD kit sticks out to far from the forks...

Do you have part number for the JP kit?
Thanks.

&nbsp\\;I originally tried the HD relocation kit - didn't like how far they stuck out. I picked up a set of Custom Chrome brackets and like them much better. BTW I still have the HD kit if anyone is interested.
