RE: Turn Signals and Windshields
I have a 2005 1200C and I have done just exactly what you are planning on doing. \\; I used the H-D turn signal relocation kit to move my front turn signals to the lower tree and I also used the quick detach windshield. \\; You will be pleased with the results, I am sure. \\; By the way, do a search on this forum and you'll find information that will allow you to move the turn signals without cutting any wires or disconnecting anything electrical.

RE: Turn Signals and Windshields
Tom.
I moved mine down 0n my 06-C, no problem with the Q.D.Windshield. No need for splicing wires. I took out the 2 bolts that hold the riser on, picked up the handlebars, and pulled the wires down to the forks. Then I tied the extra wire up behind the headlight. I got my kit from a Indy Shop. I then got 2- 1" chrome spacers so they would stick out a little from the forks. I think it came out great. I feel the HD kit sticks out to far from the forks...
