Default Ugly Turn Signals and Useless Mirrors

Well, I've chromed most of the stuff on the handlebars thanks to the suggestions and assistance of those on this forum...Now I can't get past the butt-ugly, handlebar-mounted, stock turn signals on my 05 Custom...Any suggestions on upgrades to improve the look?

Also, I bought the bike with a drag handlebar and teardrop mirrors...Can't see around my 200 lb frame...Dropping 50 lbs might solve the problem but is highly unlikely...Any suggestions on extended mirrors that look good?

Looks good right? You don't see **** in the mirrors though. Arlen Ness Rocket turbo mirrors and turns relocated.

I am actually looking at buying some mirriors with LED turn signals on the back and just ditching my normal turn signals.&nbsp\\;That would be one way to get rid of ugly turn signals and also get nice new mirrors.&nbsp\\;Not sure though if any of those mirrors are designed for a wide frame person though.

Edit: Here are HDs Chromed Mirror with Auxiliary Running Light and Directional Indicator... http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

Phracas, the Harley mirrors are almost as ugly as the stock signals.

I looked around and came up w/these.&nbsp\\; Much cheaper, decent manufacturer and better looking, me thinks...

You may have to paste the above link into your browser.&nbsp\\; The post didn't want to imbed it properly for some reason...

Let me know what you decide to do.&nbsp\\; Wonder how hard these things are to wire??

As many times as I get cut off and almost hit by cagers, I personally would not consider anything that reduces the signals and lights. Perhaps adding the mirrors with signals.

There are mirror extensions that give about 2 inches. I personally have not used them, but there has to be someone that uses them.

&nbsp\\; Hey 128auto, I like the looks of your bike (in general) and the riser you're using in particular. Can you share some of the details??? I wanted to put some T-bars on my '05 Custom, but I don't feel like investing around $500 for an electronic, bar-mounted speedo like I've seen here on the forum ( I think Utz might have one???). Don't get me wrong, it looks great, but I'm spend the $$ on a wide glide conversion with some extended forks and chrome sliders. Any info would be appreciated.

Installed the mirror extensions on my 04 1200. Couldn't see around my 250 lbs frame,#1 I can see now #2 Got the mirrors up away from my hands didn't reliese how close they were to my paws. Might not be the cleanest look but it worked. Good Luck Mud Cut
