Default What should I look for after plug change?

Ok I replaced my plugs the other day. Didn't have a chance to take it for a ride. Took one this evening. What should I look for after changing them to make sure everything it ok? I did notice after I crank it before it warms up the cylinders sound like a mad hampster on crack running around its wheel. After it warms up I really don't hear it. You have to get down close to it to really hear hit. Pull the enricher out alittle and it goese away.

Thats cause it's not warmed up. It will run rough when cold. From what your saying sounds normal to me on a cold start up. If you don't have one allready get the HD service manual for your year bike well worth it.

lite a smoke and hold it around the plugs while the motor is running, that will show you if you have a leak there. touch both heads, one at a time after it has been running a short time, see if they are getting warm. On the test ride, look out for the 16 year old kid on his cellphone trying to be cool.

You should "read" your plugs using the guide here, but one short trip probably won't give you enough read on the plugs.

&nbsp\\;If you used the right Spark Plugs and you gaped them and it's hitting on both cylinders forget about it. This question falls into the micromanaging category.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

Thanks. Took it to work today and everything ran fine. Think it is running a little rich. Since I have the V&amp\\;H but have not got the stage 1 yet. I think the stage 1 and rejet will fix that.
